Report Editor

The report editor provides a convenient way to access and continue your reports from the comfort of a computer.


Creating Reports

You can create a new report from the reports page of the dashboard. In order to be able to create a report, you must have a template created and added your company details within the settings page.

Start a new report

To create a new report from the dashboard, select the reports tab and then "Create Report". A sidebar will appear allow you to select one of your templates as a base for the report.

Send an agreement

If the template has be configured to utilise agreements, you will be presented with the option to send an agreement after starting a new report. Your subscription provides 10 agreements per month, and each additional agreement sent after that quota is reached will cost an additiona $2.00 AUD until the quota resets on your next billing period.

You will have the ability to set the client details, email subject and email body, as well as make any alterations to your agreement template if required before sending.

Edit an agreement

If your signer declined the contract, or alterations are required to be made to the agreement, you can edit your agreement from the reports table and selecting the dropdown menu fro that specific report.

It is worth noting that editing the agreement will withdrawn your current agreement so that it cannot be signed and create a reduction in your quota or an additional charge to send the edited agreement.

Access signed document

Once your client has signed the agreement the report status will update to reflect this. You will also recieve an email with the signed contract for your records. The contract can also be viewed from the dashboard by opening the menu for the specific report and selecting "View Signed Agreement".


Creating the report

Once the agreement is complete (if applicable) or you have skipped the agreement you will be able to conduct the inspection.

Adding comments

If the feature has a editor field added you will be able to add comments to the feature. The feature comments editor allows you to format your comment, and has some useful features, such as AI generated defect statements and also access to the comment library. Any text added to the editor can also be added to your comment library for future use if you would like to use it in other reports.

Adding photos

The gallery field will allow you to add photos to your reports, each gallery field allows you to add a maximum of 6 photos to a feature. These photos can also be edited or annotated from the dashboard.

Adding Features

If a new feature is required, it can be added by selecting the new feature button shown below the feature list. Adding a feature will allow you to make a new feature by making a copy and renaming an existing item in the list.

Removing Features

It is possible to remove features from the report if they are not applicable to your inspection. You can remove a feature by selecting the menu on the right, and then selecting the delete button.

Manage Statuses

Statuses can be quickly modified by clicking on a status, which will show a dropdown menu will appear allowing you to select the desired status of a feature, it is also possible to quickly mark a status as not applicable by double-clicking on the status field.

Report Events

We've made it easy to keep track of the events that have occurred for your report. To access the event history for your reports, from the reports page, access the dropdown menu for a report and select "View Event History". This will show a chronological list of the last 20 events that have occurred for a report.

Email Report

To email a report, you can do so from the reports page via the report dropdown menu and selecting "Email Report". If you have postmark enabled the email will be sent from your business email, other it will be sent from our unmonited inbox (noreply@inspecteasy.com.au). Emails currently have a limit of 10mb for attachments, if your report is larger than this it will need to be downloaded and sent manually.

The report emailer page allows you to add your recipient details, the email subject and body, as well as view the PDF that will be sent as an attachment. It is worth noting for the email body that you can utilise shortcodes to handle data from your report. These shortcodes will be automatically replaced with their actual value on sending.
